Where the prices come from
Sauna retailers publish their catalogs as structured data — it is the same feed their own storefront reads to render a product page. We read those feeds regularly and match products across retailers on the manufacturer’s SKU, so a Harvia Spirit SP60E at one store is recognised as the same unit as the SP60E at another.
Every price on this site is the retailer’s listed price, excluding freight and installation. Freight on a large sauna is significant and varies by destination, so treat our figures as a comparison of list prices, not a landed-cost quote.
How specs are extracted
Retailer feeds do not carry heater output, capacity, or cabin dimensions as structured fields — those live in prose inside the product description. We extract them automatically, then a human checks every value against the sentence it came from before it appears on the site. Nothing is published from the extraction step alone.
How we make money
Some links on this site are paid links: if you buy through one, the retailer pays us a commission at no extra cost to you. Those links are labelled where they appear.
Commission never affects a recommendation.No product ranking, sort order, or “best price” result on this site takes commission into account — that rule is enforced in the code, not just in policy. When the cheapest retailer for a model is one we earn nothing from, we say so and link to them anyway.
What we do not do
- We do not sell saunas, hold inventory, or take payment.
- We do not accept payment for placement, inclusion, or a better rating.
- We do not republish other sites’ review scores or star ratings as our own.
