There are two SaunaLife price lists, and they are exactly $950 apart
Nineteen SaunaLife models are priced at two levels across US retailers, separated by the same $950 every time. Which list you get depends only on where you shop.

SaunaLife barrels and garden cabins are sold by most of the big US sauna retailers, and the prices look like ordinary retail variation — some stores a bit cheaper, some a bit dearer. They are not. Once you line up the part numbers across every retailer at once, the variation resolves into something much more rigid: two price lists, $950 apart, and nothing in between.
The same gap, nineteen times
We matched SaunaLife products on the manufacturer's part number across seven US retailers. Thirty-one models are carried by more than one retailer at more than one price. Nineteen of them are separated by exactly $950.

Not "about $950". Exactly $950, on a $3,990 cube and on a $7,990 one alike — which is the giveaway. A percentage margin would scale with the price. A flat figure repeated across a 2x price range is a policy.
The largest models step up rather than out: the G6, G11 and CL12GCP cabins are separated by $1,990 instead, again identically across every model in that group. So it is two lists at the ordinary sizes and a wider pair at the top of the range — still fixed steps, not competition.
Look at the last two digits and it gets clearer still. Every price on the low list ends in 990. Every price on the high list ends in 940. These are two separately authored price sheets, not two retailers independently arriving at similar numbers.

A retailer does not move between lists depending on the model. If it is on the low list for the E6 barrel, it is on the low list for the G3 pod as well.
What this means for buying one
It makes the decision unusually simple, because there is no research to do. On any SaunaLife product carried by both camps, you are choosing between two numbers you already know, for an identical unit with an identical part number. Pay $950 more or do not.

The one thing that could legitimately close the gap is freight, and we have not verified it on these models. These are pallet-shipped items weighing hundreds of pounds, the published prices exclude delivery, and a quote to a residential address with no loading dock is a real number. A retailer on the low list could be recovering some of the $950 at delivery. Get a delivered price from one retailer on each list before committing, rather than assuming the gap survives to checkout.

These are advertised prices from each retailer's own published catalog on 29 July 2026, matched on SaunaLife's part numbers so we are comparing the same physical unit rather than similarly-named listings.
